The Day of the Jackal by
Frederick Forsyth My rating:
4 of 5 stars A taunt and believable look at a plot to assassinate a major world figure. Gripping, gritty, and utterly realistic, though techno, logically a little dated now. It was the basis of a movie that was good, but not nearly as good as the book.
